Welcome to the deliciously inky world of drypoint etching. We’ll introduce you to the basics of this centuries-old manual print technique with an intimate workshop in my private studio 52, 2nd Floor in the Apparatenfabriek Strijp S (full address- Torenallee 26 - Studio 52, 5617 BD Eindhoven).

Suitable for Beginners (16yrs+)

No drawing or printing experience necessary; we’ll provide everything for you to learn the technique under the guidance of illustrator Laura Carter.

You’ll be etching a plate, inking up and producing several mini prints of your own, so please: don’t come dressed in your best!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring anything?

Only yourself! You will need to be able to safely use a sharp etching needle with a small bit of applied pressure (to the material, we don't pressure you!). We'll provide all materials, along with a printed guide.

How do I get there?

My studio is in the Apparatenfabriek. Accessible via lift 2 or 3, 2nd floor. Strijp S busstop is just next to the building. Concierge or myself will be there to show you where to go, and if you're late you can call me on +31613261766, I'll come open the door! There is also paid parking in the area.
