About this event

Climb, Connect, and Share the Stoke

Join us for a long weekend of climbing, campfires, and good times in Fontainebleau! This trip is all about coming together as a community, exploring world-class boulders, and enjoying simple, beautiful days in nature. Whether you’re new to climbing outdoors or a seasoned Font lover, this is your chance to experience the magic of bouldering in the forest with fellow Wildflower members.

What’s the Plan?

We’ll carpool from Leiden to Fontainebleau on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, and return Sunday evening. Our basecamp for the weekend will be ĀTMA at Camping La Rivière Dorée, close to Nemours. From there, we’ll head out each day to climb together in some of the best areas in the forest.

After long days on the rock, we’ll cook and eat together at the camp’s community space, sharing beta, stories, and maybe even some unexpected sends. Nights will be spent around the fire, resting up for the next day’s adventures.

Why Join?

Because climbing together is what makes it special. Fontainebleau is an incredible place, but it’s even better when shared with friends. We want to bring our Wildflower community together in the forest, helping each other grow as climbers while enjoying the simplicity of life outdoors.

What’s Included?

We’ve got the essentials covered so you can focus on climbing:

  • Camping space at ĀTMA basecamp
  • Shared meals (we’ll plan and cook together)
  • Crash pads & guidebooks (please bring your own crash pads if you can)
  • Daily climbing plan with guidance for those new to Font
  • Safety and best practices to ensure we climb responsibly and respect the forest

Alternative Activities for Rainy Days

When the rocks are too wet to climb, we’ll shift to an indoor bouldering session at the world class bouldering gym Karma Escalade, go on forest hikes, have a bouldering conservation workshop, or visit ancient rock art sites in Fontainebleau. Activities will be planned based on group interest and weather conditions.

What You Need to Arrange

  • Carpooling: We’ll set up a group chat so everyone can coordinate rides to and from France.
  • Camping gear: Not included, but rental options are available—just let us know!
  • Climbing gear: Bring your own shoes, chalk, and brushes.

Tickets & Booking

To cover the basics (camping, food, and climbing gear), the cost is €50 per person per night. Pick the ticket that matches your stay, make sure you have a carpool spot, and let us know your arrival and departure dates so we can book your camping spot.
