The world has changed. Fast. The urgency to speed up innovation for a safer Europe is clear now.
Our innovation ecosystem in Brainport Eindhoven is known for its enormous potential. Society has provided us with Beethoven: substantial financial means to even improve it further. We can bring our powers of innovation to the rescue. For Defense. Also for society: for 'weerbaarheid' and self-reliance.
This is the first event of the community of Brainport Eindhoven to the rescue. A bottom-up initiative with the startup community and innovative SMEs. Supported by Gerard & Anton and Braventure.
Does your innovative solution have a dual use potential? Do you want to pitch it? Do you want to join a breakout session with fellow innovators and entepreneurs, together with subsidy partners, to kick start a collaboration.

Putting our innovations to work for the defense of Europe may not be the easiest challenge... (But when did we ever choose for easy challenges?) Some of us have already experienced that being invited by the military to share knowledge and insights does not necessarily lead to projects. Yet obviously our Triple and Multiple Helix in Brainport very much starts with sharing.
Sharing can lead to good ideas. Sharing good ideas leads to trust and relationships. Trusting in good relations is key to forming consortia.
Let's start with the sharing part. To make it possible to #DoBEttR! And hopefully contribute to defending Europe.
