Mark van der Heijden, brings a wealth of global experience. After seven years in Amsterdam’s ad scene, he became “The Backpacker Intern,” working with agencies and brands worldwide in exchange for room and board. This journey took him to 27 countries on 7 continents, collaborating with companies like TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, Ogilvy Capetown, UNICEF New Zealand, Grammy Award Winner Nile Rodgers, and many more.

Mark co-founded Wanderbrief, a platform making the digital nomad life easy, which grew into a thriving community of 10K members worldwide, before being acquired by Unsettled. As an experienced motivational speaker with 300+ talks, Mark inspires audiences at TEDx, SXSW, Cannes Lions, and the United Nations HQ.
