This workshop will be given in English, hence this English description.
CODA ExperiencLab has a Lutum 3D clayprinter. Xavier, one of our designers is very enthusiastic about his progress in coding the design he makes for the 3D printer. He likes to share his knowledge with others!
The meetup is for people who are intrigued by the possibilities of creating printable ceramic pieces without the use of wysiwyg-design software and a slicer. The shapes are created by writing Python-code. Xavier will share some code that shows the building blocks for creating a shape and generate the code. You will receive some tips to determine whether a shape will print well or not with clay (but there is always a part of luck).
The meetup kicks off with demonstration of the printer. A basic experience in Python is recommended. Also a little math is used for explaining how to achieve nice shapes. A preview of his work is available at @xmenage
