These intimate breakfast sessions bring you face-to-face with top innovators in immersive technology. Don’t miss this chance to engage directly with the brightest minds shaping the future of immersive experiences.

On Monday March 10th we're welcoming Neil Carty, Head of Cosm Studios & Labs, where he leads the future of immersive storytelling and experiential media. At Cosm, Neil oversees full-dome production for 700+ planetariums worldwide, creating cutting-edge experiences that bridge the physical and digital worlds.

A leader in immersive entertainment and creative communities, Neil also founded The Uncommon®, an incubator bringing together pioneers in art, film, technology, and design. His work explores how creators can translate physical craftsmanship into digital and immersive spaces, unlocking new ways to tell stories and engage audiences.

In this session, Neil will share insights on bridging tangible and virtual worlds, collaborating with venues, and the skills needed to bring physical artistry into XR and immersive media. Come ready for an inspiring discussion on the future of digital craft and immersive experience design.

Neil Carty, Head of Cosm Studios
Neil Carty is the Vice President, Head of Cosm Studios & Labs at Cosm, the experiential media and immersive tech company redefining the way the world experiences content, where he oversees its in-house fulldome production and storytelling lab. An immersive entertainment leader, producer and community builder, Carty leads the development of Cosm’s original programming slate across the company’s venues as well as its 750+ fulldome planetarium partner locations around the world. Prior to joining Cosm, he held various executive roles at MediaLink, WPP and IPG, where he worked closely with Fortune 100 brands, early-stage tech startups and the creator community to forge new paths for immersive storytelling.

Photographs and videos will be produced for the purpose of comprehensive reporting as part of all "CreativeNL" events during SXSW 2025.

By registering for this event, you grant CreativeNL the right to use the photographs and video recordings (hereinafter referred to as image material) taken during the event with your images and presentations as follows:

The images created may only be used for reporting purposes with regard to the event and for advertising purposes with regard to the upcoming events of CreativeNL and its partners for reference purposes in marketing and PR documents of CreativeNL.The created image material may be used spatially and temporally unrestricted for the aforementioned purposes.

The created image material may be used in all media; i.e. the image material with the image of the event participant and/or the presentations of the event participant (in video recordings) may be duplicated and distributed, made publicly accessible, exhibited, reproduced on video or audio carriers, transmitted and reproduced as a radio broadcast or made publicly accessible within the scope of all known types of use.

The right also includes the right to transfer the rights to third parties if the transfer of rights is necessary for the use of social media platforms on the basis of their terms of use (such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) within the framework of the of the fulfilment of the purpose.

The right includes the right to redesign and edit the images and presentations while respecting the right of personality insofar as this is necessary to achieve the purpose (in particular adjustment of image sizes and formats).The right includes the right to transfer the rights to the aforementioned extent to third parties for reporting purposes with regard to the event.

There shall be no commercial use of the images except to the extent specified in Clause 1.

The participant is aware that CreativeNL is not obliged to provide any consideration for the use of the participant's photographs to the aforementioned extent, i.e. the event participants make the rights to their own picture available free of licence fees.
