Are you ready for the final challenge of the year? The shortest day, the longest ride?
On Saturday the 21st of December you can join us for a special ride, we will ride the longest ride on the shortest day of the year —cycling from sunrise to sunset!
We’ll be riding in two groups. Ride leaders Daan, Tim and Maya from team Ride Out will take you out on the road. This ride will cover approximately 185 km or 155 km, so it’s important to come prepared and well-trained.
Start
We will gather at Ride Out at 08:30 am and leave at 08:48 am (sunrise) for our ride. Of course not before we have a nice cup of coffee made by your favorite baristas from Ride Out.
Finish
After a day of cycling and suffering, we’ll return to Ride Out at 4:30pm (sunset) where you can enjoy a drink, reflect on the ride, and share stories at the bar with a drink.
Breaks
We will have one well deserverd coffee and pie stop with the whole group and . (That's why we ask for a collection of €10,-).
We will also make sure to have a lunch stop somewhere to have lunch, fill our water bottles and make sure to have a toilet break. You can decide to order lunch at this place or bring your own and just have a drink at the restaurant. (lunch is not included).
For this ride group riding experience is required and a helmet and clipless pedals ar mandatory. Participating is at your own risk.
Please bring enough food with you during the ride. It's going to be a long day.
GPX Route 30/32 km/h group - ca. 185km.
GPX Route 26/28 km/h group - ca. 155km
