From Amsterdam to America and back again, Rogier Bak is a Dutch comedian who feels like a foreigner in his home country. In his riotous debut solo show, Made in USA, Rogier puts his characteristically energetic and engaging style of comedy on full display as he spotlights cultural contradictions, human behavior, and his own coming of age in the land of opportunity.

About Rogier
Rogier Bak is a comedian from Amsterdam. He is Dutch, but has worked incredibly hard to make sure you could never tell. Having spent his formative years in the US, he feels like a foreigner in his home country. He’s the first Dutch comedian to exploit cultural identity crisis for personal gain, and there’s a very realistic chance that he’s, like, literally, the only Dutch person in the world who wishes he were American.
About the Tour
Embarking on his debut solo tour, Rogier is conquering Europe, something no man has ever dreamed of doing before. The tour will kick off at one of the finest comedy clubs in the world, Comedy Club Haug in Rotterdam. From there, Rogier will be crossing Europe in an erratic, zig-zag pattern, bringing laughter, civilization, and second hand American culture to the masses. Bravely, he will venture outside the safe confines of the EU to the UK (Bristol and London, bruv) mostly to remind the Brits that, like the Dutch, they lost their American colonies forever. Thinking of stopping him? Too late, hombre – he has already manifested his destiny (and booked the venues, so it’s literally too late to cancel).

Generally speaking, refunds are not offered. The shows require considerable upfront investment (in terms of finances and time) and some financial security is required. Exceptions include cancelled shows, extreme weather, and other emergency situations.
When it comes to solo shows, yes, though opening acts may be subject to last minute change. When it comes to line up shows, we reserve the right to make adjustments without notice. Things happen, people get sick, someone gets stuck on a train – you get it.
Nope. Comedy is inherently subjective, a live art form, and personal objections to specific jokes are not considered grounds for a refund. We love our audiences, but we also protect our comedians' rights to make jokes without fear of offending any one person.
