Date and time
Location
Harvard Club of New York City
35 West 44th Street New York, NY 10036 United StatesAbout this event
This event occurs amidst significant supply disruptions due to climate change, already affecting key commodities such as palm oil, coffee, cocoa, and beef.
These disruptions are expected to increasingly influence market dynamics, severely impacting all stakeholders in the supply chain, including farmers, traders, brands, and retailers. To address these challenges, early investment in targeted company and supply chain resilience strategies is crucial. We will explore how adopting resilient production models at landscape level can help reduce supply and business risks.
Speakers include:
Emily Kunen, Senior Director, Agriculture and Forests, PepsiCo
Kevin Rabinovitch, Chief Climate Officer, Mars
Wanjira Mathai, Africa Director, WRI
Daan Wensing, CEO, IDH
Moderator: Anna Bressanin, Senior Editor, BBC
At the breakfast event, alongside you and 50 peers from business and finance, we will share practical examples of landscape-level action for climate resilience and land restoration and how it can support reliable and inclusive production of commodities.
For those not attending Climate Week in person, we will share the option to join online.
