‘PARLOUR Presents:’ is a series where we highlight independent music labels, curators, booking agents, and artists, opening our space as a blank canvas for whatever shade of artistry they choose to present on our stage.
This time, we're hosting an truly spectacular event—a unique convergence of three leading acts from Amsterdam’s synth scene. Watch Raderkraft, Schwierige Franz, and Hollow Reflection come together for the first time, delivering a night of Minimal Synth, EBM, and Synthpunk. Expect raw electronics, intense rhythms, and a surge of dystopian energy.
About the artists:
Raderkraft
Somewhere between minimal synth, electro punk and new wave floats the irresistible sound of Raderkraft, a.k.a. Amsterdam-based musician and producer Willem Stinissen (1980). Equally cold and catchy, playful and hypnotising. Raderkraft was born from Stinissen’s love for the purity and DIY mentality of early 80s punk and synth music. Armed with throbbing analogue synths, staccato drumcomputer beats, quirky German vocals and miraculous visuals, Raderkraft takes you from the Autobahn straight into the galaxy.
Schwierige Franz
Schwierige Franz is a one-man band, that combines the best and dirtiest of EBM, post-punk and fuzzy rock 'n roll; Fat beats, roaring synths, lyrics in German, English, Dutch… Having a great performance history from smaller to bigger stages and festivals across the Netherlands, Schwierige Franz promises an unforgettable experience of that rocks!
Hollow Reflection
Hollow Reflection is a dark synth project that blends wave, punk, and EBM. Their music is characterized by distinctive bass riffs and alluring melodies. Intense sounds and cryptic vocals in Bulgarian alternate with a softer sound and female vocals in English.
