What to expect

Open and FAIR practices finally meet in the field of NES, with the goal of addressing discipline-specific problems and finding solutions together. We invite you to two days of panel discussions with experts and innovators in Natural Science and Engineering, workshops and pitches by different people working in the field, researchers, policy makers, and community members.

The main themes of the event are Funding Opportunities, FAIR research practices, and Open Scholarly Infrastructure. We will open up conversations about the main themes and invite guest speakers, experts, and people who are directly involved in the fields.

For each theme, we are organising a panel discussion to inspire our communities. The panels will be followed by pitches, presentations, and workshops by our community members. By the end of February, we will open a call to propose an activity for the sessions. You can apply to pitch your project/activity or give a workshop, and get the opportunity to receive feedback and connect with the community!

Please pay attention that there are two ticket types, one for 22 May and one for 23 May. Keep this in mind when registering and remember which ticket you registered for.
