Intrinsic ID began as a spinoff of Philips Research in 2008. In 2015, Pim was on his way to Silicon Valley, California, where he knew Intrinsic ID's innovations would be welcomed by the growing American semiconductor industry.This year, Intrinsic ID was acquired by<a href="https://www.synopsys.com/" title="https://www.synopsys.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Synopsys</a>, but Pim will never lose those experiences as a startup founder breaking borders and leaving home behind to introduce his technology to the world.
