Amsterdam Lohri Special workshop by Hardy Singh and Festive celebrations
We are super excited to kick off 2025 on a high with Lohri special Workshop and celebration on 19th January, 2025 in Amsterdam. Join us for this unique experience where you get to learn bhangra from the best, enjoy a cozy, cultural celebration in a hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam.
We are taking over an art gallery to show you what the Punjabis got ❣️
This 3 hour celebration will have everything:
- A bhangra workshop by Hardy Singh, a world renowned artist and bhangra instructor, Founder of Pure Bhangra group from Dubai. Hardy has been an integral part of the Amsterdam Bhangra story and has delivered many sold out workshops in Amsterdam in 2 years.
- Cultural celebration: fun games with exciting gifts for winners - Punjabi Dhol and Boliyaan and lots of dancing
- Food stall by Indian Junction where you can buy delicious Indian food
- Complimentary traditional snacks by Amsterdam Bhangra - Gajjak, Revri, popcorns, peanuts, Til ladoos
- An award for the best dressed person
Bonfire ? Unfortunately, we don't have the permission from the event venue but to make it up for you, you'll fall in love with the location, which is like a little retreat in the heart of Amsterdam and we will still do all the bonfire rituals. Afterall, all we need is a reason to celebrate for what we do - spreading love for cultural art forms and fostering a sense of community.
Who can attend this event? - Its's for everyone- whether you are Indian or not, this event will be conducted in English and Punjabi
