The International Film Festival The Hague is celebrating its 6th edition, which will take place in Het Koorenhuis from 8 to 10 November 2024. The festival serves as a global platform for meaningful stories each year, with carefully curated films from over 70 countries. These films explore current topics that resonate not just with Dutch society, but also with a worldwide audience. The 6th edition presents 38 films in 8 blocks along with knowledge-sharing workshops on the sidelines. There will be a glittering awards ceremony to honor and acknowledge all the talented filmmakers who participated in the festival.
This festival is not just about watching films; it is a chance to connect with the filmmakers themselves. Expect to meet and interact with talented filmmakers from different corners of the world, gaining insight into their creative processes and the stories behind their films. Workshops and Q&As alongside the film screenings provide great opportunities for this. This year, filmmakers from countries in the Far East, such as Japan and Indonesia, will be physically present to participate in Q&A sessions and offer workshops, along with filmmakers from other parts of the world.
