Curling is played on a sheet of ice with a circle at each end called "the house." There are various lines on the ice, such as the hog lines. The player must release the stone before the first hog line.
Stones that are released later are removed from play. Additionally, the stone must come to a stop beyond the second hog line. If the stone stops before reaching the second hog line, that stone is removed from play.
Between 13.00 and 16.00 the NL Curling team will give a clinic every hour. Sign up for one of these clinics.
