CONFIDENCE THROUGH COMEDY

Comedian and top speaking coach, Mel Byron, leads a fun, yet highly practical, workshop which will boost your confidence on any stage.

Whether you are already a comedian, or would love to boost your confidence as a presenter in the ‘day job’, you’ll gain lots of tools to help you make a real impact on your audience.

Perhaps you’ve always wanted to take up comedy as a refreshing change from the day job? Mel can help you with that too.

During this workshop, you will learn how to:

• Discover your true voice
• Dig into your own creative process
• Harness the power of storytelling
• Read the room and understand your audience
• Use rhythm and pace to get the response you need (including that all-important laughter)

There will be lots of ‘hands-on’ exercises, plus the change to perform.

Humour, storytelling and stagecraft combine to help you take the stage and boost your confidence through the power of comedy.

ABOUT MEL BYRON

Mel Byron is a comedian, speaker and speaking coach. After two decades in the publishing industry, she now works with comedians and businesspeople to help them shine in their fields, and use humour to make real connection.

Mel performs all over the UK, and overseas, as a stand-up and MC. She has toured four solo shows to festivals including Edinburgh, Brighton, Manchester and Festrogen (Luxembourg).
